Like her infamous party pictures, this new piece of digital Casey Anthony paraphernalia is spiraling into the mainstream after circulating among anonymous skeptics and haters online. But if that's the case, then where is the original version? Why would Casey Anthony, who is on probation and in hiding, purposefully advertise "around-the-World" news in a months-old video? This feels like an unintentional release to me, of a video meant for a smaller audience, or therapy, or something. Where did this video come from? Today doesn't give its source, but their version is watermarked with a two-line ad for "Up-to-Date News/Videos from around-the-World & Casey Anthony." The same watermark appears on every other version I've found online, including People magazine's version, which came from the Facebook page of " People Against 'We Support Casey Anthony.'" People cites a "source who knows Casey's current whereabouts" who says Casey released the video intentionally. It's kind of nice to say that I have things that are mine, that I can take with me after I leave here next year. The camera was a gift, but these are things that are mine, that I don't- I don't know- that I don't have to give back. Granted, I wouldn't have the phone with and I've actually now paid for my own computer. It's been a long time since I've had something I'm able to call mine, and now that I have something even as silly as saying that I have a computer, and a camera, and a phone.

She describes herself as "extremely excited" to Skype, keep a video log, and "to have something that I can finally call mine": "I'm just starting to figure out my new computer," she says. In eyeglasses and a tanktop, woman- Today-says-is-Casey gives the date as October 13, 2011. Today describes the video as Casey "speaking out for the first time," but is that what she meant to do in this video? Or is this a private video diary that somehow ended up online? And if so, how? This morning the Today Show aired the above video diary and said it had confirmed its veracity. Since her lawyers spirited her away from jail yesterday, nobody has seen Casey Anthony. Biggest revelation: Her much-discussed " disguise" is a Kate Gosselin hairdo. For the first time since being found not guilty, most hated mother in America Casey Anthony has appeared in public! On, uh, YouTube.
